I love when an author manages to make us love a character we previously hated.
Jude wasn’t my favorite person in the previous book. He came across as an entitled jerk who could have whatever he wanted simply because he could. I didn’t like the way he treated Donovan and his disrespectful behavior towards him and his boyfriend.
But now that I listened to his book I can see he wasn’t what I thought. He had a lot of insecurities that stemmed from feeling like he wasn’t good enough. He was a successful chef on the verge of opening his own restaurant yet his own father wouldn’t acknowledge his success.
All Jude ever wanted was his father’s approval but no matter how hard he tried, it just wasn’t enough. The same way he wasn’t enough for his ex who now was blissfully happy with someone else.
Jude knew his ex couldn’t give him what he needed, but he still tried to make it work. As a switch, he wanted to control and be controlled, but he had not found someone who could give both. Hooking up with Tony only satiated one part of him, while the other left him wanting.
Tony liked Jude a lot. They had amazing chemistry, but he was a submissive through and through. After a terrible experience, Tony was afraid to do hardcore scenes, and Jude is the only one who respected his boundaries.
But Tony knows how dissatisfied Jude is after their hookups. Jude needed to submit from time to time, and Tony wasn’t the man who could give him that. That didn’t stop him from enjoying what they did, though.
When Jude suggests they add a second Dom, Tony is a little apprehensive at first. He knows that Jude would never hurt him, but he doesn’t know this other guy. Still, his curiosity is too strong to resist..
Logan has known Jude since he was a kid because Jude’s dad is his best friend. He had not seen Jude in years and the change was noticeable. He had always known Jude was a great person and hated the way his best friend treated him.
When Jude finds himself in a bind because of a contracting issue, Logan offers to help him. As a contractor himself, he has the knowledge and experience to make sure that Jude gets exactly what he envisioned for his restaurant.
Since he has to travel to the job location, Logan decides it’s the perfect opportunity to look into BDSM clubs and explore his Dom side more. But he doesn’t want an empty hookup. He wants someone he can connect with who is also willing to teach him to become a better Dom.
Through an app, he finds who he thinks is the perfect person only to discover that person is Jude. Logan can’t decide what’s more shocking: finding out that Jude is into the lifestyle or realizing that he’s thrilled it’s Jude.
To say Jude was flabbergasted by Logan’s presence is an understatement. It’s no secret that he finds Logan attractive AF with those silver-fox vibes, but this was a line that could never be uncrossed. Yet the more he thought about it, the more it excited him.
Having Tony and Logan together was the best thing that could have happened. Jude could be Tony’s Dom AND be Logan’s sub. It was the best-case scenario for everyone involved.
It should have been simple. Just three men having their needs met without any emotional attachments. Just a physical release for them when life got overwhelming. But things never go as planned.
Logan found himself falling for both men in the most unexpected way. He wanted to help Tony get over his fears after his bad experience. He wanted to give him the safe space he craved as well as seeing him blossom into his own.
With Jude, it was a little different because Jude liked the pain but also needed a tender hand. Logan wanted to show him that he had always been enough, that he was perfect exactly the way he was, and that Logan wouldn’t want him any other way. The two of them completed Logan in a way he never expected but was incredibly grateful for.
They knew it wouldn’t be easy to be in a public relationship because many people wouldn’t understand, but they had found what they’ve been looking for, and they weren’t going to let anyone take it away.
Logan was ready to fight for his boys if need be because they deserved someone who would always stand up for them and because he loved them.
Once again, James Edward Jones delivers an excellent narration of this MMM polyam relationship that comes with kink. Jude is a switch who needs would love to find someone who would be able to meet both his dom/sub needs; Logan, who also happens to be best friends with Jude’s dad, is looking to master his Dom skills and Tony, who runs his dad’s towning/salvage business, is a woodworker who anonymously creates highly sought after kitchen and kink implements. James deftly narrates each character as their relationship goes from one of a mutually beneficial situationship to an actual deeply loving and caring relationship/HEA.

About the story:
I know I said the previous book was my favorite of the series, but I think now this one is. I loooved these three men together! The three of them are just so sweet and I loved how we have characters's insights for each of them individually, and perfect of each other. I loved their dynamic. I was completely hooked since the beginning!
This is book four of the Naughty in Pendleton series, it is a standalone , even if we have a couple of glimpses and mentions of characters from previous books, mainly from Donovan Jude’s ex.
About the audio:
As for the other books in the series I enjoyed this audio. The narrator does a great job capturing all the characters and transmitting all the emotions, even with a 3rd person writing style. He mades it very easy to listen and to enjoy the story.

I’ve had this book on my TBR for quite a while so I was happy receiving a review copy of the audiobook finally brought it to the top of my list.
I love menage stories and this one was great. A dominant who needs a sub, a switch who has a relationship as a Dom with a sub (but needs more) and a sub who just wants someone to love and praise him.
This story grabbed me and didn’t let go. Jude and Tony have had an ongoing thing with Tony as Jude’s sub but Jude also likes to submit. Logan is a Dom who needs a sub; the perfect solution is for the three of them to get together. There’s only one problem: Jude is the son of Logan’s best friend. What starts out as just playing together soon turns into so much more.
This story made me feel a lot of things and that’s exactly what I like in a romance. James Edward Jones performance brought the characters to life for me and helped bring out those emotions; he did a fantastic job. If you like a romance with a bit of kink and three wonderful MCs I can definitely recommend this one.

I do think it’s a pity that the *Naughty in Pendleton* series comes to an end with this book, which is why I especially enjoyed this final volume.
Tony and Jude have already made brief appearances in the series, but now they get their own story.
Jude wants to open his own restaurant, but he faces some structural challenges along the way. The man who can help him is Logan, his father’s best friend. Logan is more than willing to lend a hand, and since he’s been in town for a while now, he signs up for a kinky app to further explore his dominant side. You can probably guess who Logan gets matched with, and yet it was really sweet to watch the two of them meet and live out their kinky fantasies.
Jude has already played around with Tony, but since he’s a switch himself, what they had wasn’t really perfect. It does become perfect, though, when Logan joins them, and so the three of them explore their kinky sides together with no strings attached. And since the three of them spend a lot of time together, it’s only a matter of time before feelings start to develop.
But what happens next with the three of them? And how will Jude’s father react when he finds out that Jude is in a relationship with his best friend?
I really liked the three main characters; they’re very different in personality, but they complement each other perfectly. I also found it very realistic how the relationship developed and what challenges arose.
The story is entertaining, and I was quickly hooked. If you’re looking for a kinky love story with great characters and a bit of family drama, this is the perfect choice.
James Edward Jones narrated the audiobook, and he did a fantastic job. He gave the characters fitting voices and conveyed the emotions wonderfully, bringing the story to life.

This is part of the Naughty in Pendleton series, where the encounters are spicy and romantic. Logan Shaw is a contractor, divorced and looking for a submissive partner. Tony Christensen currently is running his family towing business, since his father’s illness. This is not the job of his dreams. Jude Maddox is a chef, renovating his business. Logan is Jude’s fathers friend and offers to help him. That is how the three connect. When they find out they share similar interests their relationship begins. The problems they encounter make the relationship stronger because they create a supportive balance between them. This book is very spicy and enjoyed it very much.
My first exposure to the Naughty in Pendleton series was book three, which didn’t grab me, but I enjoyed book four, Flipping the Switch. Jude needs help with his restaurant renovation, Logan wants to support Jude since he’s been friends with Jude’s dad for a long time, and Tony is trying to figure out how to build his own life away from his father. I loved the way each man had to find his own growth, and how their strengths and weaknesses complimented each other. The men get their HEA and the journey is fun.

I was quickly drawn in by the realistic descriptions, and spicy encounters between this growing triad.
The audiobook voice narrator, James Edward Jones,
does a great job portraying the distinctive characteristics of each character, along with giving heat to the steamy spicy scenes.
Brigham Vaughn has written another fun well written novel.

Jude is a chef who is opening his own restaurant that he is having built new before opening and the contractors keep slacking off. He calls his childhood best friends father Logan who is in contracting for help. Logan also happens to be friends with Judes father and Jude has always thought he was cute. Logan is attracted to Jude too but tells himself his friends kid is off limits.
Logan is divorced from a woman and is interested in being with men now and wants to be a Dom but is new to it. Jude is a bedroom switch but wants a Dom as a life partner. In the small town dating options are limited so Jude has been hooking up with Tony and acting as a Dom for the strictly Sub while hoping to still find someone to also fit his own sub desires.
I loved this book. It can be read as a standalone. This may be my fav in the series or tied with book 1. I couldn't stop listening to it. It was sweet and had lots of steam. The plot kept my interest the whole time and didn't drag at all and also wasn't rushed. It was very well written and the relationship development was at a natural pace.
I loved all 3 characters on their own and thought that the 3 of them were perfect together. They each completed each other. Their chemisty was evident in every scene. Each character had their own insecurities that they helped each other deal with and I enjoyed each of their character growth. I would absolutely recommend this book.
The world building was again great. I'm enjoying this town the author created and the side characters. The main focus was on the 3 men and there was a lot of focus on 2 side characters, that I actually really hated everytime they popped up but that were intrigual to the plot, but there were a few other side characters that made brief appearances and I'm really looking forward to Preston and Blake.
This was a great performance as always by this narrator. They have a pleasant reading voice, he kept a good pace and sounded age appropriate for the main characters even with the different age gaps. He expressed all the emotions really well and brought the story to life. He gave all the characters, even the side characters distinct voices that suited them each perfectly and made it easy to follow the story. Tony and Judes voices did sound very similar but their different personalities came through.
Look, I realize we are not supposed to like Jude at the start of this book due to his past actions in the series, but i am nothing if not a sucker for a character redemption arc!

I think of the whole series this book was actually my favorite in terms of overall character dynamics and growth. Even though we had 3 MCs, they all felt like fully realized characters, with flaws & struggles, and a lot of personal growth as individuals AND as a balanced trio.
Also Tony, someone give this man a hug already! He is so incredibly worn down by life, taking care of his father and running the family business he hates. Then add in a absolutely horrifying past bad experience with a horrible dom. The way Jude & Logan made him feel self-confident again was actually so sweet.
And then he have Logan, the oldest of the 3 MCs, who is also friends/acquaintances with Jude's (terrible) father. And yet we get the epic scene of Logan basically telling Jude's dad to STFU and i loved it 🙌
FLIPPING THE SWITCH is the fourth installment in the Naughty in Pendleton series. It can be read as a standalone without issue.

Tony has some resentment having to run the business and taking care of his father instead of following his own dreams. Tony is looking for a Dom that he can care for. When Jude finds out that Logan is a Dom, an unpracticed Dom, he tries to help by setting up a meeting with Logan, Tony and himself. Tony and Logan hit it off immediately and Jude and Logan have a chemistry that is not really unexpected just sorta awkward knowing how they know each other. Once they get over that part their chemistry is explosive. Logan knows that these two men are for him and he wants to explore this side of himself. Tony is all in. He's loves having two Doms. This is the perfect situation for Jude. He can explore both of the things he needs but he's terrified that Logan and Tony won't need him because they can get what they need from each other without him.
I love how this poly triad came about and how they each got what they needed without anyone being left out. Logan standing up for Jude in a way no one ever has and also getting Tony's dad to see Tony needed to live his own life. Perfection.
James Edward Jones did an amazing job bringing these characters to life. I couldn't get enough. I listened literally every spare moment I had.
What a triad! (an audio review)
I always enjoy Brigham Vaughn's audiobooks. A definite part of that credit goes to James Edward Jones. The talented narrator always delivers amazing performances, and this book was no exception. His delivery of the story was lovely, and he differentiated the three voices solidly so I was never lost. I enjoy James’s performance and I find him well-matched to Brigham’s words.
Okay…the book. As a BDSM practitioner, I’ve always found the different roles fascinating. I might find myself pulled to one role, but I’ve spoken to people in many different roles and always enjoyed those discussions. Dominants have a certain mindset versus submissives – who may or may not be masochists – and then those who can go either way. Switches.
In this story, Logan – the Dominant – is the least experienced. He heads to the app to find someone who both wants to be a bottom and willing to work with a newbie.
Jude is on the app, communicating with Tony. He’s happy to be Tony’s Top…but he also longs to be a bottom for someone. A dichotomy he struggles with. Finally, Tony’s happy to be a submission bottom – but he worries about Jude’s desire to be a bottom on occasion.
The app brings the three men together – but things get a little awkward. Logan’s son was Jude’s best friend in high school. So there’s that to overcome. Also, Logan has taken over the renovation of the restaurant Jude plans to open, and they have a business relationship. So there’s that to overcome. Finally, there’s the need to clearly define roles. Jude struggles the most because he believes if he can get Logan trained as a Top and then Tony’s the willing bottom, then the switch in the middle doesn’t have a role.
To add to the drama, both Jude and Tony have major issues with their fathers which impede their road to happiness.
Watching the men navigate their way into a relationship that works for the three of them was interesting, and I certainly enjoyed every aspect of the story. I’m definitely looking forward to the final story in the series. Can highly recommend.
This really was writing a poly relationship to perfection. We started with Jude and Tony his big ole sweetheart of a sub. Then we get the privilege of adding a hot silver fox in the form of Logan, Jude's Dad's friend. I loved that Logan was helping Jude renovate. There is just something sexy about that. The dynamic between the three flows naturally and James did a great job distinguishing the personalities and emotions of all three of them. This was quite a steamy tale as well!
MMM stories are my favorite so I've read a lot. This one was so well done. The relationship felt fair on all sides. I loved watching the relationship at this level grow from all sides.
This story is about Jude, a switch and chef who is opening up a new restaurant. Logan, a newbie Dom who is in his 50's. And Tony, a sub and a secret carpenter who runs his father's business while being his caretaker.
Watching the freedom thta this relationship gave to each man was beautiful.
I loved the dynamic of a newbie Dom with an experienced switch and a sub. I've never read that before and I was captivated by it.

Both Tony & Jude had appeared to different levels in previous books in the Naughty in Pendleton series. Tony was forgettable but I really didn't like Jude. They both shocked me & I was beyond rooting for their HEA with Logan. I believed in their dynamic & was sad when their story was completed.
This is book 3 in the series but i think stands alone just fine
This is an interesting story . It has plenty going on with Jude renovating a building for his restaurant, his friendship with Logan and his relationship with Tony.
I liked how everything just folded into place and blended well.
Tony is dealing with his sick father, working and dreaming of a relationship, longing for Jude knowing he can't have him completely.
If you like small town, kink ( mostly bdsm, dom, sub, Switch, spanking) father's best friend, friends to lovers, , chef, business man, construction, poly, you will love this.
I really liked the narration. I think for me it made the story more meaningful and interesting.

I adored Jude, Logan and Tony. They are so perfect together, so perfectly matched and combining like a beautiful puzzle.
Logan’s a not-so-experienced Dom, intelligent enough that he’s willing to accept Jude’s suggestions and teaching. Jude is a switch who’s been neglected in the past: he could never find the right man with whom he could express both his dominant and his submissive sides, but with Tony and Logan, he can be the wonderful switch he is. Tony is a giant marshmallow: he’s a sweet submissive with a lot going on in his life, but the love of these two wonderful men, he becomes stronger and better equipped to face it all.
I adored the dynamics, the mutual support, the underlying tenderness even during the SM scenes… everything about it really.
I think James Edward Jones perfectly captured and portrayed the three different characters.
This is an excellent read! I love this poly relationship because it shows the work that goes into any relationship. The characters are fantastic and this is such a heart warming story. I just listened to the audiobook and it was so good!
